THINGS WOMEN SAY.
Gentlemen, we all know that women are a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, so let us give you a bit of a ‘heads up’. Here are some words you need to look out for, and they don’t mean what you think they mean!
1. Fine: This is a word women use to end an argument when they know they are right and you need to shut up.
2. Nothing: Means something and you should be worried.
3. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission, so proceed with caution.
4. That’s OK: She is scheming how and when you will pay for your mistake.
5. Wow: This is not a compliment - she’s just amazed that you could actually be this stupid.

FRENCH ANTI-SMOKING ADS PUSH THE ENVELOPE.

Sex sells - no doubt, and the French do it better than most!  But can it be used as a deterrent just as effectively?

The campaign, devised for a pressure group supporting the rights of non-smokers is trying to discourage young people from smoking. The caption reads, “Smoking is to be a slave to tobacco” and shows a young boy and girl kneeling in front of a man as if being forced into oral sex.

The agency behind the ads says only a shock campaign can make any sort of impact, but it has been called everything from “grotesque” to “scandalous” by their detractors. They say that is “inadmissible” that an image implying underage sex should be exploited, even in a good cause.

What do you think?

WHEN ATTRACTION FEELS LIKE YOUR HEART WILL EXPLODE.

We’ve all had that feeling…you glimpse someone out of the corner of your eye, and then BAM! - A chain reaction goes off inside your body: Your heart starts beating out of your chest, palms become sweaty and you lose the ability to put together coherent sentences. It’s not love at first sight, as we discussed in a previous article, but that crazy instinctual power of attraction…

So, what exactly is it that comes over us? What makes a potential partner attractive? Well, it turns out that we are not as far evolved from Bugs Bunny as we may have thought - in fact, the underlying powers at work are essentially the same as that of animals; to find a quality mate.

Firstly, facial symmetry is something that plays a major (be it subconscious) role in who we find attractive. Research suggests that this in-built preference for facial symmetry is linked to good traits such as healthiness and suggests “good genes”.

Here’s an interesting tidbit from the research: Men with very masculine features, whilst signifying high testosterone and preferred genetic stock, make poorer partners and parents than men of genetically lower quality. The more masculine a face, the more the perceived dominance and negative behaviour aspects (such as coldness or dishonesty). Therefore women often prefer men with slightly more feminine faces as long term partners.

Science also shows that partnered women will be more likely to find that high testosterone alpha male more attractive while in their most fertile phase. It may be shocking, but women fancy men with the most masculine traits when they are most likely to conceive. On the flip-side, men look for features linked to being adept for child-bearing.

And as for the saying, “opposites attract”, science has answer for that too. A group of genes called the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) influence individual odours in men. If women prefer the odour of MHC-dissimilar males it is probably to increase genetic diversity in their offspring or to reduce inbreeding.

Now of course, even though these are the results of scientific research, they are still general. Let’s not forget the incredible power that media has in defining our ideas of beauty. Just look at how the curvaceous pin-up girls of the 50’s and 60’s have given way to the waify thin catwalk models of the new millennium.

It’s no wonder the reasons behind attraction are often so difficult to describe – we are in a phase of evolution torn between primordial animal instinct and our own self created ideals of beauty and vitality. At least we can give ourselves a break about being superficial – it was built into us!

WHO SAYS REALITY TV AND PORN CAN’T MIX!
Here at SEXZINE we do lots of extensive “research” to bring you the latest lowdown…and boy have we found a real news worthy gem for you!
Search for a Star is a reality based TV series where aspiring porn stars battle it out for their chance at fame and fortune. And apparently this is it’s second season - how did we not hear about this earlier! It’s hosted by none other than Czech star Carla Cox who we actually had the pleasure of meeting earlier in the year during her visit to Australia.

SAFE SEX FOR SENIORS

“In Florida alone, STD’s amongst seniors has risen 71%.
While there are many ways to do it…there is only one way to do it safely.

Use a condom.”
